Rasta Trains with Al Gore

28 July 2009

A big congrats to Sanuk team rider Dave Rastovich who was chosen from over 200 applicants to attend the Climate Project – Australia Asia Pacific Summit in Melbourne on 11-13th July.

Dave (along with 300 others from the region)  had the chance to help focus The Asia Pacific regional response to climate change in the lead up to the UNCCC Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009

Dave says “I think anyone passionate about protecting the environment and the issue of Climate Change would jump at the chance to listen to and learn from Al Gore. Part of attending this summit is to become an advocate for climate change and to pass on the messages through my own activities.”

Well known for his passion for the environment Dave is co-founder of the organisation Surfers for Cetaceans.

Welcome Jack Lynch!

28 April 2009

Sanuk would like to welcome team rider Jack Lynch to the Sanuk family!

Jack Lynch loves free surfing the most, out of all the things he does. "When I surf my logs, I try and surf as traditional as possible and with as much style as possible. But I also enjoy competing and it's a great way to make new friends. I have no interest in short board competitions because I find them unfriendly and aggressive and that's not what I want my surfing to be like."

"I enjoy riding all the surfboards that I can get my hands on. My main boards that I am riding at the moment are my log, four fin fish and also the Alaia I made. But I ride fishes, short boards, single fins, performance mal's, logs, alaias and old mals."
